How Ecom Outpost works
Ecom Outpost helps you discover products from independent online stores. We don't sell anything ourselves: when you find something you like, you buy it on the store's own website.
How results are ordered
Search results are ordered by how well they match what you searched for. Stores can't pay to rank higher in the regular results.
Sponsored results
Some stores pay for extra visibility. Those placements are always labeled Sponsored, and a sponsored product only appears when it already matches your search. Paying doesn't buy reviews, ratings or trust.
What we count
To show stores how much interest Ecom Outpost sends them, we count page views and clicks on "Visit store" buttons as daily totals. We don't use cookies for this or record who you are. Visit buttons pass through a short link on our site so the click can be counted, then take you straight to the store.
Our own stores
A few stores on Ecom Outpost are owned by the people behind it. They're always labeled From our own store, including when we feature one of their products or banners. Those placements aren't paid advertising, but they follow the same rules: a featured product only appears when it already matches your search.
Kinds of listings
- Connected stores linked their store to Ecom Outpost, and their products stay in sync with the store.
- Discovery listings are stores we listed so you can find them. They haven't joined Ecom Outpost and aren't affiliated with us.
- House stores are owned by the people behind Ecom Outpost. We label them so you always know.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock come from each store and can change. The store's website always has the current price and full details.
